RealDye Review

RealDye has only been around about a year, but they have a good reputation. The dye is shredded and a nice purple color. I placed an order on Sunday night around 11pm and received it on Thursday so that was good. They include free shipping and that is a bonus. They did ship the wrong items though I ordered 1-50g, 1-100g, and 1-250g but they sent 1-100g and 2-250g packages. I emailed him and let him know but he said I could just keep the difference. He emailed back that if it was under he would reship the difference. Anyway here is the review video and check out the realdye site at realdye.com

Edabea Review

Edabea is a ethnobotanical supplier based in Spain. They have been in business for a few years. From my research it looks like they could be a valuable supplier of Mimosa Hostilis.

Update: I made a test order through Edabea and got great service. It seems to be taking longer for anything to go through customs now so it took 17 days to arrive. 7 in transit and 10 sitting in NYICS. Here is a video review of the product

Gaiana Review

gaiana

Today I’m reviewing Gaiana. They are supplied Brazilian Mimosa by a very reputable company. I placed an order with them today and they have been awesome to work with so far. They have a reputation for going above and beyond expectations and I am looking forward to doing a product review of there Mimosa Hostilis when I receive it.

They currently accept payment via cash, bank transfer, western union, and online. With online payment you do have to pay a 3.4% premium to cover processing costs.

Once I receive the Mimosa I will upload some photos of the packaging and product so you can compare it to the other suppliers. I expect it to be top quality though. I’m thinking about having a contest and giving some away to a lucky reader.

UPDATE 7/1/15

I recently received another order from Gaiana in the Netherlands. It took quite awhile to get through New York ICS  (Customs) but it worked out well and arrived. Here is a quick video review of that order.

UPDATE 4/18/2013
So yesterday I got a note from the post office that my package had arrived. I admit after reading some of the comments on here, I was a little nervous going to pick it up. It turned out I had nothing to worry about though. I picked it up smoothly and the packaging looks great. It was vacuum sealed and inside of a zip lock bag as well as you can see in the video. I know the white balance is a little off but it is the right pinkish purple color for dye. I took the chance to record a video and now I can show you a quick video review.

Since the color is a little off in the video here are a few pictures I took of the packaging.

Avalon Magic Plants Review

avalon_logo1One source of Mimosa Hostilis is Avalon Magic Plants. They have been in business for some time. The domain was registered in 2009. Today I placed a test order with them and will see how long it takes to get here. They have been very helpful through the order process. They currently don’t accept credit cards which is a bit of a pain in the ass but they say they will have credit card sales back up soon.

They sell a ton of different products and just going to there site makes me wish I lived somewhere more tolerant. They sell many different botanicals and mushroom items. It is one of the only places I have seen that actually sells viable mushroom cultures. No more isolating the strain before starting. At least if you live in a country you can order them from. They also have a huge selection of premium Marijuana seeds.

I can’t wait for my Mimosa order with them to get here. When it does I update you all and add some pictures of the packaging and product. Have a Great Time and let me know your experiences with Avalon Magic Plants. You can see the full mimosa sellers list here

Update April 20

Today I received my order from Avalon Magic Plants. It came in discrete packaging and they didn’t use signature confirmation or anything. It was just sitting in the mailbox when I checked it. Luckily it was small enough to fit in the mailbox. The color of the dye looks very nice and it seems fresh. The order was sent on April 9th and was just got here on April 20th. Not too bad for coming from the other side of the world. Below you can see some pictures of the product and a quick video.

To wrap it up Avalon seems like a place worth doing business with. Check out their website it makes me wish I could buy some of the mushroom kits they have.
